IDL Group leads the Building Information Management (BIM) process - creating and managing information on a construction project throughout its design and built life cycle. IDL Group has a comprehensive list of services to help transition and implement a project process. BIM is not exclusive to designers and contractors but has become relevant to everyone involved in the construction industry.
Good design is only possible if it is realised. Our project management teams objective is to increase value by minimising risk. They drive projects while our technical teams ensure designs are practical, well detailed and value engineered.
We act as lead contractor on fit out projects, overseeing all elements of the coordination and design development where required, managing cash flow forecasts, and variation tracking, compliance with the CDM regulations, handover procedures and health and safety files.
Our in house cost consultants are experienced in gathering, evaluating and monitoring cost on construction projects. From initial setting of budgets for complex approvals through to day to day monitoring of on-site project costs we are experts in our field. Our cost control systems ensure that we can review and make informed recommendations to our clients at any time during the life of a project, avoiding surprises and determining a successful outcome.
